Bot J: Could you please tell me if there is any gate code or buzzer required to access the property?,

Maike: There is a buzzer. People ring the door bell, and I press the buzzer. No one from Yodel rang on either delivery attempt.,

Bot J: I apologise for the experience you’ve had with this delivery. Thank you for your cooperation and for sharing the instructions to assist us. ,

Maike: The address is correct. But the second line is nonsense. I don’t know what it means.,

Bot J: I have raised your concern with our depot to arrange the redelivery of your parcel today and requested them to send the parcel out for delivery at the earliest.,

Maike: When is that, please?,

Maike: Will it be today?,

Maike: The tracking link says it will be delivered on the 19th, which was yesterday. I’m confused.,

“Reconnecting…”

This time I tracked the Yodel van carefully, refreshing the tracking website every 20 seconds. When is was 3 deliveries to go, I made Mr W watch the tracking information and call me as soon as it moved to 2 deliveries to go, while I went downstairs to stand in front of the house, ready to throw myself in front of the next Yodel van.

And in case the Yodel delivery driver slipped past me anyway, I also put a sign on the door.
