Lockdown-ish 2

It’s kind of a lockdown again, only not really. There is a travel ban, but it’s just “advice” rather than the law. But we want to be good, so are staying at home. Here’s how I’m coping.

Last weekend I got myself the eBay app for my phone and bought:

• 3 small cast iron pans
• wall hooks for macrame plant hangers
• rope for macrame plant hangers
• a super sized crochet needle to make rag rugs from old t-shirts
• 2 big buckets of dark blue wall paint for the bedroom
• jointing compound, jointing tape and a jointing knife to repair cracks in the walls of said bedroom
• a grab rail for the bathroom, so we can hoist ourselves out of the bathtub (call it forward-planning)
• 5 energy efficient lightbulbs
• a bench knife for bread making

Mr W got a TV licence and a cable, so now we can watch television on the big screen in the pink room.

It’s good to be prepared.
