Dales Way
- long-walks yorkshire england
We walked the Dales Way in early October, a respite from pandemic boredom at home. The walk crosses the Yorkshire Dales starting in Ilkley near Harrogate and ending just at the edge of the Lake District at Lake Windermere. It is a flat walk. There were tea rooms wherever one needed one, and pubs were still open until 10 pm, late enough for tired walkers, whereas back home they had shut again to control the virus.
