Poppy's pumpkin extravaganza

Ran into our friend C at the farmer’s market and what with everyone being desperate for fresh conversation with people we weren’t living with we had a long chat, returning home with her friend Poppy’s recipe:
Cut off lid of pumpkin, spoon out innards, fill with cream, white wine, garlic and cheese, replace lid, bake for an hour or so until tender, serve with bread and wine - happy pumpkin fondue!
