Edinburgh Life

Today, I had an appointment with Lotti after work. Lotti is my flatmate’s garden allotment, and whenever my flatmate is travelling I get to pick the strawberries and courgettes.

On my way to Lotti I passed by the Murrayfield Rugby Stadium which has a huge green lawn in front of it where people where playing with their dogs, kids, footballs, or grills. It looked so inviting that I stopped for two hours to read my book in the warm evening sun, watch groups of well-built young men run past me, and chatted with a friend on the phone. That’s the life!

Lotti didn’t mind my being late, and I went home with a sink full of strawberries and two big bags of courgettes and lettuce.
