Dinner at his (date 4) - what he says

"So, dear readers, we have arrived at date number four. Exciting times! For today’s date I aim to impress Maike by cooking for her and showing her my flat.

I have a minor panic on the day when Maike tells me she has never had blue cheese before, and this is a key ingredient in what I’m cooking. I have bought a German blue cheese, so what can go wrong?

As it turns out she likes the food and my flat. She spends time looking at my books, which I like a lot. We go for a nice walk along the beach (this working class boy has a ‘beachside property’) before coming back for dessert (which I’ve bought, not made, I confess). We listen to jazz and Maike is very interested in counting the beats and I learn a little about musical theory from her. What a find this lady is!

There is some very nice kissing (awwww) and then I drive her home. A really nice date!"
